I have been wanting to post this for a long time but I haven’t gotten around to doing it. Today I am going to talk about the goals I set for myself back in early January, and see whether I have completed any.
Fingers crossed, I have done something. LOL.
It has been a while since I have written the list so I can’t remember much. AND I know there are quite a lot of goals.
Okay, let’s see here…
I didn’t read 3 books or more in a month…BUT I am still trying. GAH…I haven’t touched a non-fiction book in a long time…I am hoping to change this before the end of the year. Oh my gosh, I haven’t read any poetry book other than the princess saves herself in this one. I am pretty happy to have read a classic. It is only one but hoping to read more in the future.
These need to change.
I am currently outlining Project Fire. It is going slowly but it’s getting there. I gave myself a specific deadline and that is to finish it before November comes.
Scrap most of these because I didn’t learn any new songs. Oops. The practising, on the other hand, was an ON and OFF thing which I need to fix. FAST. -_-
Thank goodness, I stuck to my blogging schedule for most months. So YAY! But something came up and I had to stop due to health issues.
The exercising thing…is an on and off thing. Not a good thing. I’m trying to keep at it, and it has been MEGA TOUGH.
SO, this time I want to set more realistic goals for myself.
New goals for the second part of this year:
- write more blog posts (about all things writing, inspiration and motivational quotes, etc.)
I realise I haven’t posted much of blog posts except for these two. I hope in the near future I can break out of this imposter syndrome and write more. I am still scared to post but I forget that this is a learning process. And in order to do this, I need to step outside my comfort zone. A BIT MORE.
- Finish Project Fire
The outline, and the draft – yesss all of that! I want to finish writing Draft 1.5 within this year. A promise I made to myself. More about Project Fire is coming after NaNoWriMo.
- Practise singing for an hour every day
- Stick to the blogging schedule
- Read books from my TBR
I am going with 5 goals because I feel that they are “quite” achievable.
Alex is signing out!
