WEEK 1-2 of Camp NaNoWriMo

Hey Dreamers!

It’s been a long time since my last post. I had been busy as a bee. There hasn’t been much time to write at the same time, catching up with my friends, and doing Camp NaNoWriMo (yes I’m doing it!)

Today is the 1st of July, and today is the day I am going to participate in Camp Nanowrimo for this month. This is my first, so I’m super, super excited!

I’m so happy at the same time not sure whether I can be disciplined to write a page a day. The goal is to finish 50 pages.

I decided not to use my current work-in-progress. So I used another book idea which I came up with not too long ago. It is a narrative poetry. Strangely, I do not know the synopsis of the story yet. Let’s see how it goes and then maybe a summary idea will pop.

In Week 1, so far I’ve managed to finish half of my goal. And week 2 was going smoothly until I reached a point where I accidentally ran into a wall: yes, yes, a writer’s block. Oh dear will I survive this?

While I was trying to find a way around that wall, I found myself in a writing slump (don’t  know whether there is a term like this or not), but argh, will I get out of it? 😨😰

The days are flying by too quickly, and it’s going to be the end of July soon. I need to find a way to get out of that slump, and scale that wall….FAST!

Thank you for stopping by.
